Licensed Property Manager

VERDI MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking an experienced, professional, Residential Property Manager with AZ State Real Estate License to help manage a growing portfolio of rental homes. Must be available to work evenings and weekends, have a professional appearance, reliable transportation, great communication skills and computer/technology competency. A working knowledge of the property management industry is preferred. Income is commission based and you would report as an Independent Contractor for tax purposes.

Essential Duties

  • Qualify tenants.
  • Prepare lease and all supplemental documentation.
  • Working knowledge of leasing, marketing, contracts, building maintenance.
  • Visit properties, identify maintenance needs, follow through with coordination of repairs from bidding process through completion of work.
  • Actively work with residents in advance of lease renewal to maintain tenant residency.
  • Schedule and oversee unit turnover.
  • Inspect portfolio with site visits as required for marketing, maintenance, etc.
  • Manage tenant relations regarding complaints, requests and communication.

This Position requires an experienced and proven property manager with an established track record of success. Specific requirements include:

  • A minimum five years experience in a property manager position preferred
  • Outgoing, confident, and likeable personality with ability to work and communicate well with employees, customers, vendors and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel required.
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing, and Landlord Tenant Act is required.
  • Computer literate. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Willing to learn and gain knowledge of web based AppFolio Property Management  software.
  • Willing to learn both long term and short term rental procedures.

Bookkeeper/Admin

VERDI MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a full-time experienced Bookkeeper/Admin to work with our Property Managers.  We require a minimum of 2 year AA Degree with emphasis in accounting and/or 3 years’ experience with data entry.  The ideal candidate will be able to handle a variety of accounting, office, and administrative responsibilities.  Willing to learn and understand AppFolio accounting software is essential.

Compensation includes the following: 2 weeks’ Vacation, 5 personal days, and 13 paid holidays (including birthday).  Salary DOE.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Accounts Payable.
  • Accounts Receivable / Prepare Deposits.
  • General Journal Entries – Must understand accounting principles.
  • Review account balances online daily.
  • Bank Reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in a timely manner.
  • Perform office duties including: scanning/paperless filing, printing/copying, and folding and sending out mailers.

Skills:

  • Must know Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Great overall computer skills.
  • Organized and a self-starter able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Must have good communication skills and professional appearance.
  • Willing to take an ownership role of your position for the growth and success of the company.
